Marcia was over Friday night and I showed her the History I just completed for our Ward, and had her take this picture of me. It's a big project, I tend to over do my assignment with it, but the Ward sure loves it when they get it. Besides pictures, it has the minutes of all meeting and talks. People tend to tell about themselves in their talks and I try to captures that.
I am looking through the history I just finished for the Ward. I have worked on it for a year. There is alot of memories in it, and it becomes like a baby to you, it is hard to give it away. But on the other hand you want to get it done and over with and move on to something else. I will be presenting it to the Bishop Sunday at church.
Here is a page on the Bishopric and Clerks. I had pictures of each organization,High Priest, Elders Quorum, Relief Society, and teachers, Young Women, and classes, Primary and classes. One fun page I made up of all the mother's who had baby's this pasted year, there must have been about
ten of them. They were holding their babies. I added pictures of all the fun
events of the year. All the new people who had moved into the ward.
This was a page on the Eagle Scouts getting their awards.
This page are some of the baptism of the Missionaries who worked in our Ward. They are doing a great job. I went to all these baptisms.
I presented Bishop Pulsipher with the Ward History last Sunday morning before church. I informed him that it would be the last one they would be getting from me as I would be moving to Utah this summer. He looked at me and said "You can't go!" I have given the Ward several years of history, some smaller than others. It's been a labor of love. But now it's becoming a lot of work. I hope it lasts through to the millennium, cause in what I read about Ward histories the General Authorities have written they would be preserved for those who live in that age, to read how our generation lived through these days.

Wow!! I can't believe you made that. I just found out a couple of months ago that people actually make journals for the wards. I had no clue. I think its Awesome. But I don't think I could keep up with that calling. GOOD JOB!! You're amazing.
Don't feel bad grandma, the Bishop in my San Diego YSA also said, "You can't go!" They just know a good thing when they got it!
