Rita & Amy helping me put on the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers luncheon.

Last Monday morning was my turn to be the Hostess for the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers luncheon. With the work Rita and I have been doing in the house I didn't have the energy to try to get in shape to entertain 12 sister in it. So arranged for the Relief Society room at the church. Rita and Amy were a big help to me. So here is the end result.

Here I am mixing up a great Cesar salad, I mixed in this
big one then put it into a smaller one.

Lauren and Gabrielle are waiting for the meal.

Amy is putting lemon slices on the cups. I found some mint
flavored ice cubes at the store to put into the cups. It made
the water taste so good.

I made two big casserole of Sheppard pie to serve. We fixed
up a serving table close by to let the sister help their selves.
There is Nancy Weber, Nancy Bassett, Bernice Nelson,
Edith Carpenter, some of the sisters

Some of the other sister Marilyn Ketteringham, Ruth Butts,
Virginia Kemp, Bernice Nelson. We usually have about 15 to
our meetings.

It worked out that four sister didn't come, so made room
for Amy and her girls and Rita to sit at the second table
along with me and two other sisters.

While we were having our meeting, Rita and Amy
cleaned up for me. Gabrielle sat in on the meeting for
awhile, maybe some day she will become a member.
After the meeting we rushed Rita down to the airport
for her flight home. She made it in good time.

After leaving Rita at the Airport we drove down to Sea Port Village and came across this beautiful patch of flowers .

We walked around and took some pictures, here we are tangled up with a Sea going Sailor. He has his hook around Gabrielle's neck.
