Mrs Johnson's 6th Grade Class It's "Bits & Tidbits From the Bard" She said
, she thinks it's important every year to expose her class toShe said "If you would understand the genius of man, you must read Shakespears".

Their class room was so decorated, it was held in the classroom.

in his acting.















Matthew at the end of a scene, he knew all the actors line
he could have played any of their parts.

















It was very entertaining, they played a bit of Macbeth, and
the Taming of the Shrew.















All the class was taking part, some of the youth were really
good actors and other so so. The teacher said "Historian agree that
powerful influences have given us our English Language. The Norman
Conquest of England by William the Conqueror in 1066, and the writings,
the creation of words, and the genius of William Shakespeare.

February 25 2010 A visit from Christian & Sarah.

A Sunday evening and a visit from Christian and Sarah bringing Joanna for me to play with or take picture of. She is now sitting up, she always looks so cute.















The fireplace is on and toys placed around her to entertain her, Christian likes to get on the floor with her.
















We detected a smell, so Sarah got busy and had to strip her down to clean her up, good thing it was nice and warm. I wasn't going to put this picture in, but it was the only one I had of Sarah.
Oh well we have seen baby's get changed before.















Afterwards Joanna need cuddling, being a father, Christian does a good job.
















He is very protective of her, and she loves it.














Daughters have a special place in your heart.

Febuary 2010 Valentine's

Valentine was coming and I got the bright idea to have some fun and make Valentines for all my great grand children. I remembered how much fun it was a kid making Valentines for our School Valentine box for my friends. We would spend days making Valentines, we would an wall paper sample book and use it some times. But we did love to get store boughten ones. Valentin night we would go around the neighborhood Knocking on doors and leaving Valentine, but leaving off the name of who sent them. It was great fun. Sometimes we'd tie a string on it as they stooped to pick up the Valentine we would pull it away. But not to often, as that wasn't nice. We were always hiding in the bushes or somewhere they couldn't detect us.

Dan & Alicia invited me over to their Home Evening, so I took their Valentine to the boys. Here I'm sitting between Connor and Haden.

Dan getting ready to sing the opening song and then he told the boys a book of Mormon story and had them repeat it after him on some of the verses, they learned one very important word, obedience. I was very impressed with their lesson.















Alicia played the piano for the boys to sing several songs and we sang too.















I could see that the boys have learn all their Primary song very well. After that we had dessert. It was a fun evening to sit in on their Home Evening.

January 2010 Some of my pictures.

Denise,Don and Robert,Matthew stayed New Years with me. This morning I baked a egg layers crech for breakfast, and Don made his special Mint Julip drink. We ate breakfast while watching the "Rose Parade" in Pasadina, California.















Here I was relaxing in my easy chair watching the parade. I have always love watching that parade. I have seen it peronaly three times. Once when Loren & I were first married, then one year we took the kids up in the middle of the night and camped out on the side walk waiting for it start that morning, I love it all the crowd and all that was going on up and down the side walks, Randie and Bradley stuck it out with me. Loren took the girls and Marlin and slept in the car till morning. The third time I went with Randie and Marsha and we road up on a bus and had seats in the blechers.















We played some games and ended up playing "Train Domenos" After that we all went to see a movie. Then they went home, it was a nice day.
















Our first big snow fall of the year, the rest of them were small comparied to this one. It lasted a while. this I see out my back windows.

I thought this little tree was pretty, the way the snow covered it.















I love seeing the snow in the bare trees.

I took a ride down to 400 North where big house are to see how the snow was there.
















I was surprised to see the trees didn't have that much snow in them, but every where else.














This was after church that I drove around, this is my home, the snow plow had been there and you can see all the snow they pushed into the curbing.
















This is how the mountain looked with my telephoto lens. Lots of snow up there.














Alan and Jacqui came to see me, I took this picture of Kaitlyn, she is finally warming up to me a little. Not like Chloe she is a friend to all, no reserve.
