This is the shuttle bus we came on to the Nature Center in Chula Vista. They had us park in a parking lot and take this bus, no cost for it, but we paid $5. to get in $3. for the kids. That bus was busy coming and going all the time we were there.
As we came in the Nature Center this is the first thing we saw. Lauren is getting a ride from Gabrielle.
Any with Gabrielle & Lauren in the wild flowers.
This represented a birds nest in the wild, kids could get in it and play like they were the baby birds waiting for something to eat.
We walked through the bird pens, here is a big eagel, and there was awls and all kinds of birds to see.
This is the shark tank, no putting your hands down there.
We came to the Sting Ray pool and the girls were fancinated with them, they encouraged the kids to reach down and pet them. They are slick as heck, but they seem to like the attention.
This is the Nature Center, they built an area where you can climb up and look over the area and observe rare birds flying through.
Some of the wet land preserve for the birds who migrate through the area. They are trying to keep some of it for the wild life.
After looking at all the fish and birds we went on a little nature hike down to the bay area, we saw rabbits and squirrels, they warned us to be aware of snakes, Lauren wouldn't let go of my hand.
time for the Sting Rays, we got back in time to watch them.
Here is one of the Sting Rays flapping its fins coming up for some food.
These critters sure know when its chow time, they are ready.
Lauren and Gabrielle watching the sharks being feed.

that looks like a neat place! We'll have to check it out the next time we're down there.
It was fun, I could barley get Gabby away from the sting rays she would have stayed there all day. Thanks Grandma for taking us.
