March7 2010 Velma Hughs & daughter came to stay a few days.

Randie called me and wanted to know if I
could give Zelma Hughs and her daughter
a bed for a few days. He has been Home
Teaching them for some time. Zelma is a
convert to the church and had moved to
San Diego recently from back East. Her
daughter Kayle wanted to go the UVU this
semesterso wanted to come and check it out.
They might move up here. Julia and I came home
from Stake Conference and here they were
waiting for us in the drive way.





















That evening Julia took them to BYU to attend a special meeting. The boy in the
picture is a friend of Julia's as well as a friend of Zelma's daughter, he lived in
their ward in San Diego. They brought back ice cream and Root beer to make floats.
















Monday evening they wanted to take Julia and I out for dinner, so we went to Applebees restaurant, And had a good time talking and getting to know them.
















Julia and I enjoyed our dinner, they wanted to have dessert, but not at Applebees, so
we suggested to Coney's for an ice cream.
















So we drove over there and they had their Lemon Custard as the special of the day,
oh, do I love that, so we all ordered it on a cone.
















Here we all are, enjoying it to our hearts content. Except Julia, she orderd a chocolate, so is looking sad cause it hadn't come yet. They spent a few days looking around for a house to rent, but finally found an apartment close by UVU which Kayle would be able to walk to the campus and would suit their purpose. Zelma is a Medical Health Therapist, so will have no trouble finding a job.













Here we all are having a good time eating our Lemon Custard ice cream.
