I was disappointed. Of coarse the mountains were cover yonder. That's me.
But it is beautiful anyway. We were taking pictures, the sky is pretty clear.
I love this beautiful area where they hold wedding reception in the summer, we were on our way up to South Park.
Looking over South Park, it was filled with snow, and all of sudden clouds drifted over and it began to get a little hazy we thought it was going to rain.
To our great surprise this snow storm came in on us while we were up in the mountains at South Park. This was where we took those beautiful fall leave pictures last October.
We got up here to South Park and it began to snow, it really started coming down. We couldn't believe it, what a nice surprise.
We knew there was a creek in this area of South Park, so Marcia and Rita went to look for it. In the summer the trees hide it well.
Rita took this picture of Marcia, looks like the creek wasn't frozen over after all, it merrily going on it's way.
Rita at the creek, Marcia took this of Rita, they were having fun walking around in the snow.
Here comes Marcia, at least she had something over her head, but she is enjoying every minute of it.
Me, I put my scarf around my head and got out of the car to take their picture. It was cold.
Rita didn't have anything to cover her head, she and Marcia just coming back from walking down to see if that creek was frozen over yet.
The end of the road, you can't go any further. The snow is really coming down now.
I wonder how the horse's stand this cold weather, here they don't seem to mind it.
You can see this storm is still coming down into this South Park Valley.
The tree is right next to this beautiful place where they have wedding receptions, as you noticed in the picture coming up there was no snow on it at all. Now it's covered.
As we came back down the road the snow had covered this area, but not this beautiful Christmas tree. Well there is a little on it. It stood there so green and beautiful, I had to take it's picture.
We found this herd of wild turkeys running through the hill and houses up there in area where they have cabins. When we drove up, they didn't know what to do. So we stopped and when they saw we weren't going any further, they scooted across the road and ran up into the hills.
This was a little cabin up the hill where we saw the turkeys, I thought it looked rustic, and would make a good picture. You can see one of the turkeys heading up to it.
When we got out of the mountains, we picked Julia up and went down into Provo to Marcia little boutique shop and had fun trying on hats and rings and stuff. It didn't snow in town.
Marcia, found this ring that glows, at this boutique, and bought several to take home to her grand children. She liked this hat too. It was a fun day after all.
