April 11 2010 Sunday, we help Marcia celebrate her birthday.

Marcia wasn't feeling very good this Sunday morning of her birthday, but got up and went to church with me anyway, It was a warm 69 degrees. She was coughing and hoarse, but did ok. After church Julia and I fixed dinner for her birthday, and invited Rita and Jeff to come over, Derek was in Boston out of town, or he would have been here. Jeff was excited and feeling good he had gotten a letter from a college that accepted him, it was back east.


Rita helped put the Strawberries on the cake for her, when we were about to serve it.


Calls came to Marcia from her children in San Diego, Chris, Jordan and Michelle.
Marcia opens her birthday letter from me. It was really nice to have her up here for her birthday too.


Amy called to see if it was alright to come down, she hadn't a chance to come and visit her. Amy and Gabriella and Lauren, came right after their church, and still in their Sunday clothes. As did Jeanne and Bradley. They called too and Denise as well, she came down alone and spent the evening.


Here I came with the birthday cake, everyone was there by then.


We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Marcia.


Marcia celebrates her "58 th Birthday" Still looks pretty young for her age.

Amy, Jeanne and Rita, for some reason Brad and Denise didn't get in any of the pictures. Don't know why.


It was good to have Jeff over and visit with him, and hear all about his acceptance at that college. It was a wonderful day, Sorry I didn't have the rest of you over.
