September 20 2009 - The trip up to the mountains to see the start of the turning of the fall leaves.

After Church on September 20, I ask Julia to go with me up in the mountains to see the start of the fall colors of the trees turning into their beautiful colors, so we started out and drove up to Squaw Peak and this is what we saw. Well first we went up to where we look over Provo to the Lake.

As we started up the other road to the other part of the mountain you can see the starting of the trees turning red, but next week it will probably be all turned red.

I loved the blue sky with the white clouds, and the green of the mountains with the faint showing of red trees, but the beautiful reds one at the bottom.

I found this beautiful bunch of leaves along the side of the road, there were so many cars and motorcycles going up the roads it was hard to find a place to stop and take a picture.

The yellow beside the red trees are just beautiful, with the sun getting low in the horizon,we can't see as many of the colors on the west side.

I stopped by the side of the road and took this picture of the sun filtering through the trees.

We stopped by the side of the road to get this beautiful shot of red trees, with the long yellow grass.

We also saw this old wood fence with the beautiful long yellow grass in the back ground and took Julia's picture.

I finally found a tree at the side of the road to take Julia picture in front of it.

This was so beautiful,we went to the almost of the road, until we thought we had better turn around and go back. As beautiful as it was we didn't want to get stuck there and have to walk home. We decided to go make a trip up to Vivian Park to see the trees there on Friday as Julia had the day off, I will post that trip next.
