Here we are going through Las Vegas, we hoped to get there when the traffic wasn't to heavy. But we didn't run into much until at the last end of the city.
I always enjoy seeing the beauty of Las Vegas high rises. Loren was here at a Bank Officers and Directors outing and we stayed at the Mandala hotel. Our room was on the top 12 th floor when we felt an earthquake. All the guest were running out of their rooms as it was about One p.m in the morning. They were rushing down to the bottom. We just just stayed in bed. Pretty soon over the loud speaker a voice told all the people to go back to their rooms. It was as safe up there as it was on the bottom floor. There was no more quaking.
Here we are in the golden fields of Utah
When we got my house in Orem, here this beautiful bouquet of flowers was setting on the table in my house. The thoughtful person was my son in law Derek. Those flowers stayed nice for about two weeks, they brighted up the house immensely.
You can't imagine how I felt when I drove into the garage of my house. We haven't been able to drive in our garage in San Diego for years. I was a good feeling.
Rita and I went shopping for shelves to put into the garage for the load of boxes I wan't put in my house, like Christmas decoration and what not.
Dixie was up here in Utah helping Sarah with her new baby. She decided to stay for Education Week, so came over to spend that time with me. Here she is helping Rita and I put these shelves together.
