December 25 2009 CHRISTMAS MORNING.

Christmas morning I went over to Rita and Derek's early in the morning, it was crispy with snow. It's been some time that I have had snow for Christmas. Here is their beautiful Christmas tree.















The Christmas stockings were filled and laying over the couch. Jeff was up and waiting for the fun of opening gifts.















Santa even left me a stocking full of goodies.















Jeff get his first gift something good as his lights up.















I get the "Old Testament, made easier" a series of three written by David J. Ridges. We are studying the Old Testament in Gospel Doctrine class this year, so I was glad to receive these books.

Alan & Jacqui and family were the first ones to arrive at their home for gift exchange. Here Alan is helping Kaitlyn and Chloe open their gifts.

I asked Ethen to give me a smile and this is what I got from him.
















Kaitlyn came over to show me her beautiful little doll. She could comb her hair and she got the comb out and that occupied her for a while.















Then takes her doll over to Grandpa Derek and he shows her how to comb her dolls hair, so she has fun doing that.















Dan and Alicia come next with their boys, and gifts are exchanged.















Rita gives this picture of the Timpanogos Mountains to Derek to hang in his office. She took the picture with her camera and Kathryn helped Rita with it, working with it on her computer I think with Photo Shop program. She did an great job on it. Derek was thrilled with it















By then Kathryn and Jared and family had come. So they could see Derek open it. See Janette sitting there, she got that night gown for a Christmas present and didn't want to take it off, so wore it over to show grandma's.
