They got my couch wrapped with plastic in a hurry.
They start wrapping furniture right off with plastic to be loaded.
Here's the Wheaten moving truck right on time, they work out of Wisconsin. They have a good reputation as movers.
The guy wrapping plastic around the couch chair. They left half of one of their rolls at the house after they were through.
They hired this guy to come help them, he lives here in San Diego. He is loading boxes I had stacked in the hall and bedrooms upstairs.
They are filling up my stuff in the first part of the Wheaten moving truck, it will be interesting to see how they do it.
I got on the truck and took a picture of the driver and packer. He is a little guy, and been in the business for 25 years. The guys bring out the boxes and furniture and he orchestrates the packing, He is a master at it.
I took a look inside the Wheaten truck, this is the other end, lots of room in the truck. Mine will not be the only one on the truck.
My garage was filled with boxes, they had to prop up the garage door to get them out. The spring had broken on the doors and hadn't been workable for years. After I left, I had Mike across the street from me put in new garage doors. He is in the business. I was able to give him and his wife a Book of Mormon. They were great friends and helped me at times when Loren was sick, when I needed help.
The guys carry out about the last shelves. There was alot of stuff I left. Marcia had friends that is coming over to pick it up.
My little home already looks deserted. I haven't had time to take care of my flowers in my front yard, and they are all over grown. I wish I had time to fix it up.
It's hard to say goodbye to your home you have lived in for 38 years. There is lots of memories stored in these walls. Life is like a good book. The further you get into it, the more it begins to make sense. And life is not dated merely by years. Events are sometimes the best calendars.
